150 Youth Invited to A Private PRE-RELEASE Screening of HARRIET

 

The Harriet Tubman Monument Fund will host a private PRE-RELEASE screening of HARRIET at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 29th at the Bluffton Cinemark in Bluffton, SC for 150 Youth.

Make history and be one of the first to see the first movie based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet Tubman.

Students have always learned about the brave and courageous Harriet Tubman during Black History month now 150 youth from Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton Counties will make history and be one of the first to see the first movie based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet Tubman. They will be able to witness the incredible story and have a chance to discuss 

The private PRE-RELEASE screening of HARRIET is free to the youth to attend. This event will be hosted by Teenpreneur Jasiya “Jojo” Green host of Jojo’s PersonaliTV

What’s Included:

  • once in a lifetime chance to make history by screening the first movie EVER made about the amazing Harriet Tubman privately even before it hits theatres

  • a keepsake movie poster and a

  • panel discussion after the screening

Join us as 150 youth celebrate the life of Harriet Tubman during the private PRE-RELEASE screening at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 29th at the Bluffton Cinemark in Bluffton, SC. Students will be selected by the various School Districts. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and can be found on our website.

Tabernacle Baptist Church has launched a campaign to honor Harriet Tubman with a monument for her role in the Combahee River Raid and for her services rendered in Beaufort, SC during the Civil War. Tubman lived in Beaufort near the Tabernacle Baptist Church during the early 1860's for approximately three years.
